    It looks like it’s down again. It says, “you’ve found a bug”, when I try and report the bug (using the report bug link) that fails too.

    (today is October 24th in case this isn’t dated)

    Recurring bills are broken. They are not executing and the “Next Bill” displays a negative number of days remaining.

    I’m having the same problem and have been for months. Can’t get recurring bills to work (shows negative numbers), can’t even click on “Money” most of the time (get the “you’ve found a bug” message), and haven’t heard back to any bug reports. Frustrating.

    I’m still having a problem creating a bill with anyone who is a Facebook user. It says “Internal error! We were unable to save this transaction. Please contact us.”

    And then never lets me add the transaction. I hope this can be fixed too.

    When are you fixing recurring bills?
    For as long as you don’t fix this, all of your users will fear that the site will go down…..and there’s no way to export the data!!

    Thanks for the effort last time. Billmonk speed seems to have recovered up until today for me.
    System is slowing down again.
    Recurring Bills seem to be broken. They never trigger again.

    When I tried to report a bill or a payment, it gave me an internal error and asked me to contact you. Even while sending this bug report, its giving me a ‘Oops you found a bug’ page. Rewriting this error report.
    Please suggest.

    I think there are bugs on Clicking the Save button on Billmonk.
    Could the team please check that. There are bugs on any Send and Save button on the entire website

    Hi I am getting a bug on all the Save Buttons. I just enter all the data and try to save it but it either says Internal Error or You have found a bug. Also when I try to report it it says You have found an error. Please suggest what to do. I have to put up a lot of bills and collect them as soon as possible. This is really bugging…

    This issue is occuring again.

    When I tried to report a bill or a payment, it gave me an internal error and asked me to contact you. Even while sending this bug report, its giving me a ‘Oops you found a bug’ page. Rewriting this error report.
    Please suggest.

    Billmonk is still having issue, it gives me an error message saying ” internal server error, please contact us” . Are you guys working on a fix for this?? Otherwise I will need to find some other website. Today is Jan 19th, 2011.

      It looks like the SSL certificate for billmonk.com is expired, but not for http://www.billmonk.com.

      While trying to figure out why your post is the only mention I could find of the expired certificate, I happened to click a link to “www.billmonk.com”, and was surprised to see no expired certificate warning.

      I guess it’s (way past) time to get my data out, change my password, and never use Billmonk again…

    Looks like I aint alone on the Internal error problem. Everything is broken, bill reporting page, contact us page and many more. If someone comes up with some kinda solution, let us all know here.

    Billmonk is giving signs of going down again. It went down for several days few months ago. So I would suggest everyone should back-up their billmonk data in the event of the site going down again. To do that:

    1. Go to Account on top right corner of billmonk page
    2. Select Download data
    3. Save all the data that you can. The option to save all data returned a bug on first attempt, but it was fine on the 2nd try.

    something is wrong- we aren’t able save new bills, when i tried to use the contact feature the “oops you’ve found a bug” message popped up. billmonk is so helpful but kinda frustrating when it’s not working right. anyone know of other sites like this that are less buggy?

    My friends can however bill to me. Please fix this at the earliest.

    Interestingly enough, the problem with creating new bills seems to happening only on my Mac, and not on my friend’s Windows PC, or on my own Ubuntu..something to do with cookies, etc? Haven’t tried to fix it on my Mac yet, but hopefully this could help other netizens..

    I have tried different browsers. Doesn’t seem to be a cookie issue to me…

    I have been getting an error while reporting bills and I’m unable to add anything to billmonk since the past week. Please fix the bug. I even get a bug while reporting a bug!! Billmonk is a great website and I do not want to discontinue using it.

    The biggest problem seems to be the fact that there is “NO BODY” to contact for help/assistance with this issue…
    The issue seems to be consistently persistent over the past week with everybody and we have not received even a single reply from the concerned personnel thus far..

    I hate to move away from billMonk..but that, not far from now, will seem like the most logical thing to do

    If you try and report a Bug, you get another error message. If you try and e-mail company@billmonk.com your message is bounced back.

    You’re starting to scary me BillMonk. I love your service, but it would suck to loose track of the bills and who owes who…should I go to a different service?

    Any recommendations? I’m looking at Buxfer.com and MyBillQ.com, any experience anyone?

    Buxfer went through this same issue a few months ago. Thats why I switched to billmonk since they had a blog and a twitter account, were owned by a real company (obopay) and seemed to be more responsive when things go down. BillQ looks interesting though I just put together a google spreadsheet and might just stick with that. I’m pretty done with fly by night startups that abandon their sites.

    It seems to be something to do with cookies . Didnt work on safari on Mac, Chrome on Ubuntu, IE on windows xp , but WORKED on Mozilla firefox on Ubuntu . Thing to note is I had never accessed billmonk on this system before. Maybe try clearing up you cookies.

      I am not sure if that’s the problem…I tried accessing billMonk from Chrome Incognito window (that doesn’t have any cookies)..still it did not work.
      But So far I used it on Windows XP & Windows 7…it dint work for me..

      Are you saying that it’s working for you, as we speak?

    It’s working for me now. Windows 7 on Firefox, Chrome, and IE9. However, to sign in on IE9 I needed to completely disable the security to accept all cookies because even on the “Low” settings Billmonk was saying I needed to configure my browser to accept cookies.

      Please clear all your cookies and sign-in (or use the incognito mode of your browser)
      That’s what I’ve been doing for the past few months to work-around this problem.

    I’m unable to post bills and payments. Its giving me an error “Internal error! We were unable to save this transaction. Please contact us.”

    I’ve tried clearing cache and tried it in incognito window too but of no use. Can someone please suggest how to fix this problem or a work around ? My bills are piling up and I need to put them up on billmonk asap.

    Billmonk is a great innovation and a brilliant idea. I love billonk.
